Date: Sunday 10th November 2024

Meeting point: Main gates of The University, outside The Arc Gym, Cowcaddens Road.

Time: 8:50am (9am departure) – approx. 5.00pm

Join us on a day out in south Central Scotland.
We'll visit the Wallace Monument before it opens so we can enjoy the views from the bottom of the monument and the snacks from the cafe in peace! We'll then visit the battlefield at Bannockburn and hear all about Robert the Bruce.

Before we finish up in the city, we'll visit the quaint Old Stirling Bridge, where William Wallace won against the English. Finally we finish up in the City of Stirling, where you can visit the Old Town, see the Castle from the Back Walk route and explore at your own pace.
